The Project
Play4Real is a web-based gaming platform created as a school project for the course Web Development. We want to combine fun and challenge through simple but engaging browser games.
Play4Real is a web-based gaming platform created as a school project for the course Web Development. We want to combine fun and challenge through simple but engaging browser games.
We are five students enrolled in the Electronics-ICT programme at Odisee University of Applied Sciences. Our team consists of Xander, Sirin, Bilal, Nikita and Linus. Together, we worked on designing and developing a responsive and accessible website that combines learning, creativity and fun.
The main goal of Play4Real is to stimulate the brain while keeping the experience enjoyable. We wanted to create a platform where users can challenge themselves through simple but engaging games that focus on logic, memory and problem-solving.
Play4Real offers a selection of classic browser games such as Wordle, GeoGuessr, Tic-Tac-Toe and Memory. Each game was chosen to represent different aspects of web development, including layout, interaction and usability.
The website was built without the use of CSS frameworks, following modern web standards and best practices. Special attention was given to responsiveness, clean structure and user experience. Play4Real is not just a collection of games, but a demonstration of what we learned throughout the Web Development course.
Play4Real shows that learning web development does not have to be boring. By combining games and logic, we created a platform that is fun, interactive and meaningful.
